Alain Vaissiere

Alain Vaissière, born 1957 in France, is a digital artist who combines photography, software painting and editing. His art is produced in a special way, by printing each digital work on Aluminium Dibond, which is then sealed by several layers of lacquer. Each artwork is printed then lacquered in a limited edition of 5.

Vaissière is very passionate about Japan and he regularly visits the country. His art shows strong influences from the Tokyo urban landscape, but also from more traditional aspects of Japanese aesthetics such as wabi sabi or arts and crafts

‘’This is modern, poetic, beautiful and fun!'’ are the words that are often used by collectors to describe Vaissière's works. His motto is "Art is Fun & Dream!" His permanent quest is to give emotion and pleasure to those who contemplate his works.
